The Destroyit 2445 Strip Cut shredder has all the features of its predecessor, the Destroyit 2360 with an improved “Easy Switch” control element which features the Smart Shred Control function, the smiley face on the easy switch glows green to indicate proper shredding capacity but will flash when you’ve reached the limit so paper jams can be avoided. The Destroyit 2445 SC features the SPS safety package which includes an electronically controlled safety shield, and automatic shutoff if the shred bin is full or the cabinet door is opened. The Easy-Switch also functions as an emergency stop switch. The Destroyit 2445 Strip Cut is powerful enough to handle up to 14 sheets of paper, along with staples and paper clips, even credit cards are no problem for the solid steel cutting shaft. The 2445 also includes a convenient 9-gallon shred bin that can be used with or without shred bags.
